PEMBROKE, Bermuda – March 1, 2022 – Sompo International Holdings Ltd., a global Bermuda-based specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, announced today the appointment of Jon Hiller as Senior Vice President, Head of International Casualty, London Market. He will be based in London and report to Mike Reid, Executive Vice President, Head of Casualty, International Insurance.

Jon’s breadth of experience and knowledge of corporate liability, and of setting up and operating global programmes, will be invaluable as we build effective long-term relationships with our clients, offering them greater expertise and depth in helping them to address the evolving threat landscape and mitigate against potential loss and claims scenarios.”
Jon has 15 years of experience gained in the Lloyd’s and London markets and in Sydney, Australia. He has held leadership roles in claims, underwriting and project & portfolio management at companies including AIG, Chubb and JLT. He joins Sompo from QBE, where he led the company’s Canadian Liability & International Environmental Portfolios.
