Sompo Holdings Group CEO, Kengo Sakurada and Sompo International CEO, Nigel Frudd Attend World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland
This week, Sompo Holdings Group CEO, Kengo Sakurada and Sompo International CEO, Nigel Frudd joined 3000 of the world’s most innovative and influential political, business and society leaders in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum. Attendees discussed topics that will impact the future of business and society including the digital economy, health and healthcare, education, gender and work, and environment and natural resource security. Shaped by a unique institutional culture founded on the stakeholder theory, which asserts that an organization is accountable to all parts of society, the Forum is deeply anchored in the public and private sectors and brings together the world’s foremost CEOs, heads of state, ministers and policy-makers, experts and academics, international organizations, youth, technology innovators and representatives of civil society in an impartial space with the aim of driving positive change.
In addition to attending the Forum, Sompo Holdings also sponsored a special Davos issue of Time Magazine, which features a letter from Kengo Sakurada as well as an article about Sompo’s transformation into a global force for innovation, advanced technology, health and well- being.
