Bob Thaker

Bob Thaker is CEO for Sompo UK, which writes local and international P&C and Specialty business from its London and Birmingham offices. Bob has spent his career in financial services in a range of roles through banking and insurance. Prior to joining Sompo in 2023, he led several successful insurance businesses in both in the UK and Asia which operated across commercial and personal lines, developing digital capabilities and multi-channel distribution models.
