I started in the insurance industry in 2014, initially on the consultancy side before moving into Underwriting in 2015, and then joining the PI team at Sompo in 2019. The Professional Indemnity market has faced a number of challenges in recent years including the continued aftermath of Grenfell, COVID and compliance with Russian sanctions. Given the current climate of economic uncertainty we will likely see PI claims start to trends upwards but our team prioritises flexibility. Rather than take a blanket approach, we pride ourselves on taking each risk on its own merit, always working to find a solution and prioritising maintaining long-term relationships with our clients.
