Stefan Beine was named President, Zurich Reinsurance in June 2020, having served as CUO of Global Property since April 2019. Prior to this role, he was the Executive Vice President and Head of Europe Non-Specialty Reinsurance. Earlier, Mr. Beine was the Head of Europe Property Catastrophe Reinsurance, a role he served in from 2012 through 2015. Prior to joining the company, he was Head of International Model Solutions for RMS, responsible for defining market requirements for catastrophe model development. Earlier positions with both reinsurers and brokers focused on catastrophe risk modeling, and analysis, strategy and pricing in support of underwriting operations. Mr. Beine was educated at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
