I have been an insurance professional for nearly a decade starting on the operations side in 2014 before moving into Underwriting in 2017. I joined the D&O team at Sompo in 2021. In recent years, the D&O market has experienced a significant shift due to volatile market conditions- an increase in litigations, regulatory changes and heightened scrutiny of corporate governance have led to a fast-changing market. In the face of a challenging D&O landscape, the team and I have successfully adapted by staying informed of emerging trends, risks, and relevant macro-economic changes.
