Alfred Goxhaj has served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Sompo since June 2013. As CIO, Mr. Goxhaj manages the implementation and the maintenance of the corporate mission critical information systems including core business applications and the supporting infrastructure. His career in IT spans many years as a researcher, developer, manager, and executive in various industries and with large business organizations. Prior to joining Sompo, Mr. Goxhaj held various executive positions including CIO of Philadelphia Insurance, CTO (Director of Organization, Strategy and Systems) of AON Affinity, and as an executive consultant for the U.S. Social Security Agency, U.S. Treasury Department, Principal Financial Group, and AT&T. He holds a dual MBA degree in Operations Management and MIS degree from University of Pittsburgh.
