Barry Beard

Barry Beard is Head of Complex Risk, Sompo, London, appointed in February 2025. Since late 2025, he also holds responsibility for UK-produced multinational business. Mr Beard has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, with expertise in complex risk, multinational business, and credit risk management. He has held roles including Credit Risk Manager and Head of Global Services and Complex Multinational business in the European market.
