Elica O’Shea is a seasoned insurance professional with over 18 years of experience in claims management and insurance law. As Vice President and Claims Manager for Property, Crisis Management, and Agriculture at Sompo, she leads the resolution of complex claims while driving operational enhancements. Elica joined Sompo in 2016, progressing through senior claims roles where she managed large-loss property and energy claims for both the company and Syndicate 5151. Prior to her time at Sompo, she worked as a solicitor at Kennedys and DWF LLP, handling high-value property damage, construction disputes, and subrogated recovery claims for leading insurers.
