Fahri Ugur was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Retail Platform, Sompo Holdings, Ltd. in January 2020, responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis and Skill Transfer. He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Sompo Sigorta (Turkey) since June 2015, where he has introduced initiatives to improve strategic support, efficiency and data driven decision making process. Prior to joining to Sompo Sigorta, he worked at an insurance regulator of Turkey for almost a decade and worked as a Chief Underwriting Officer in one of the major insurance companies in Turkey. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Hacettepe University and an MBA degree from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
