Kate Thompson joined Sompo in April 2025 as Head of Region – Midlands and South West
Ms Thompson has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, predominantly within distribution roles. She is responsible for heading up the Midlands and South West. She is committed to supporting growth, setting overall strategy and developing broker relationships within her region.
Prior to joining Sompo, Kate oversaw the Midlands branch of Generali and worked at MS Amlin and Axa.
