Ken Reilly was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Insurance, Asia Pacific in April 2024, subject to appropriate regulatory and immigration approvals. He also serves as Head of our Tokyo office. Previously, Ken held the position of Executive Vice President, Head of Tokyo Office, Sompo and Executive Vice President, General Manager of Global Business Department, Sompo Holdings, Inc. since July 2022. Ken joins Sompo with over 25 years of global insurance experience, most recently serving as CEO of Japan’s largest foreign-owned general insurance entity. Ken has a background in commercial underwriting, having served clients and intermediaries across various geographies and segments across his career. Ken has worked in underwriting, distribution and management roles in New York, Bermuda, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Villanova University and is bilingual in English and Japanese.
