Masaki Takeda was appointed EVP, Client Engagement Officer, Asian Risk Solutions (ARS) at Sompo in April 2024.
He is responsible for leading client engagement across the ARS portfolio.
Mr Takeda previously held several senior roles within Sompo. From April 2021 to March 2024, he served as General Manager in the Corporate Production Department at Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. in Tokyo, where he was responsible for major corporate clients. He earlier held the role of General Manager, Automotive Business Development.
Prior to this, Mr Takeda was VP, Strategy and Integration at Sompo in New York, as well as Managing Director at Sompo America Insurance Services LLC in Dallas.
He has held leadership roles across the United States and Japan, with experience spanning client engagement, strategy, integration and automotive-focused portfolios.
