Pierre Balthazard

Pierre Balthazard is Chief Executive, Singapore Branch and Head of APAC, Reinsurance. He previously served as Head of Asia Pacific Reinsurance and Deputy Chief Executive of the Singapore Branch. Prior to this, he was the Head of Asia Pacific Catastrophe Property Underwriting since 2016. Before joining the company, Mr. Balthazard held various senior actuarial positions in Asia with regional responsibilities for pricing, reserving and risk management during his nearly 20 years within the industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences and is a Qualified Actuary of the Institut Des Actuaires in France.
