Shannon Totten

Shannon Totten was appointed Executive Vice President, Head of Retail Excess Casualty North America in July 2022. She leads underwriting strategy and operations for complex commercial industry classes across the U.S. and Bermuda.

Ms. Totten has more than 30 years of industry experience and has been with the company since 2003. During her time at Endurance and Sompo she has held various senior roles across Excess Casualty.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia – Terry College of Business and is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter. She also has a seat on the University of Georgia Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Board.
