Tony Rai

Tony Rai is an experienced claims professional with over 25 years in the insurance and legal industries. As Group Chief Claims Officer at Sompo, following its acquisition of Aspen Insurance Group, Tony leads the global claims team, overseeing insurance and reinsurance portfolios and ensuring technical excellence across all product lines. Previously, Tony held senior claims roles at Aspen and Hiscox, including Head of London Market Claims. He began his career as a solicitor at Clyde & Co LLP, specialising in litigation and claims resolution.
