John Heins joined Sompo in 2015 and currently serves as the Head of Multi Line and Regional Treaty Underwriting for the company’s global reinsurance business. Prior to joining Sompo, John held senior underwriting and reinsurance management positions with various (re)insurance organizations. With over 35 of industry experience, he has focused much of his career on property and casualty treaty reinsurance for regional and super regional carriers in the U.S.  John holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Siena College.

Ann Kolman joined Sompo (then Endurance Re) in 2007 and currently serves as the Head of North America Casualty Reinsurance.  Ann has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, primarily focused on U.S. Treaty Casualty.  Ann has a Bachelor’s degree from Vassar College and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.

Siobhan Hogge joined Sompo in 2014 and currently serves as a Senior Vice President in the Regional Multi Line Treaty Underwriting unit for the company’s global reinsurance business. Prior to joining Sompo, Siobhan held senior underwriting positions with various (re)insurance organizations. With over 35 of industry experience, she has focused much of her career on property and casualty treaty reinsurance for regional and super regional carriers in the U.S as well as run-off business.  Siobhan holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and French from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master’s degree from New York University in Politics and French Studies.

Christos Charitos joined Sompo in 2018 and currently serves as a Casualty Treaty Underwriter. Prior to joining Sompo, Christos served as a production broker placing reinsurance for regional, super-regional, and large stock companies and as a senior underwriter with various (re)insurance carriers. With 20 years of industry experience, he has focused most of his career on facultative reinsurance underwriting and claims management. Christos holds an Accounting Degree from Kutztown University.

Dan Cotter joined Sompo in 2015 and currently serves as Head of Casualty Programs & Casualty Facultative Manager for the company’s global reinsurance business. Prior to joining Sompo, Dan held reinsurance roles at Benfield (Aon), Willis (Gallagher) and Cooper Gay (CRC Group) focusing on property.  In addition, Dan spent 3 years working as an investment banker at Bank of America and UBS post graduate school.  He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Washington & Lee University and a MBA from Cornell University.

Lori Bollinger currently serves as AVP, Casualty Facultative and Specialty Reinsurance Underwriter. Prior to joining Sompo in 2021, Lori held product management and senior underwriting positions with several insurance companies. With over 20 years in the industry, she has focused much of her career on property and casualty lines of business for both admitted and non-admitted carriers. With expansive expertise in underwriting, operations, product management and information technology, Lori holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. In her free time, she focuses on her non-profit Happy Soles, helping cancer patients navigate oncofertility as a result of their diagnosis and treatment.

Lisa Padulese, CPCU, ARe is an Underwriter in Sompo’s Casualty Facultative Reinsurance unit which specializes in Commercial Auto and Workers’ Compensation for Individual Risks, Alternative Risks and Programs on the Sompo ReConnect platform.  Prior to joining Sompo in 2018, Lisa spent more than eight years with another global reinsurance carrier initially working in Accounting before transitioning to the Casualty Facultative team.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Holy Family University.

Dalissa Sosa

Dalissa Sosa, CPCU, RPLU, ARe is an Underwriter in Sompo’s Reinsurance P&C Regional Business Unit which specializes in writing U.S. property, liability and multi-line working layer treaties for a mix of homeowners, auto, commercial, general liability, umbrella and low hazard workers’ compensation exposures on both a non-proportional and proportional basis. An experienced reinsurance professional, she has deep expertise in underwriting, operations and claims. Prior to joining Sompo in 2018, Dalissa handled complex claims in professional liability, casualty, property, marine and aviation for a global (re)insurance carrier. She holds a B.A. in Business Communication and Marketing from Baruch College.
