With more than a decade of experience in the international casualty space, I joined Sompo in 2016 from CV Starr. Our team based in London focuses on Canadian, Australian and European business, complementing the offering from our colleagues in the US and Bermuda. We diversify by product and distribution, providing delegated authority solutions to SME clients with a focus on building strong partnerships with coverholders. For larger clients we currently run an open market book on an excess quota share basis. We are in the process of building out this part of our business, especially on the retail side in Europe, getting closer to clients to deliver the solutions they need for the risks they face.
