Simon Niemann was appointed Chief Pricing Actuary for Global Reinsurance in June 2019, having served as SVP & Chief Pricing Actuary, International P&C and Specialty since 2013. Prior to this role, Mr. Niemann held various senior positions within Sompo’s actuarial department. With over 20 years of (re)insurance experience, his expertise spans reserving, modeling and pricing. Mr. Niemann holds a MSc in Actuarial Mathematics from University of Copenhagen and is a Qualified Actuary with the Danish Society of Actuaries.
